It used to be the Danube Tango Meeting, the New Year's Eve tango
marathon of Budapest.
After 5 years of New Year parties we decided to change the date to the non-holiday season for several reasons.
First of all everything is much more expensive on the holiday period.

The flights, the accommodation, etc. are 3-4 times more expensive than few days later...
Also, we really miss a relaxed Christmas season with our lovely

daughter and our family :)

 

On the other hand, we had so much fun with all of you, so we wouldlike to continue the tradition of great winter parties in Budapest!

Budapest is beautiful in every season, thus in winter as well!

 

We keep continuing our legendary Tango-Extreme programs - open air ice-skating, relaxing in the Széchenyi thermal bath and the guided
city tour with our private tango-bus.

We are also going to have a great selection of tango DJs from all over Europe to make sure everyone stays on the dance floor for the wholeweekend.

We invite our best tango friends from all over the world to celebrate

the beginning of the new tango year, the beginning of the new tango

marathon season, and we vouch for the outstanding service and food
provided by the Bakelit team.
