How can I reach the Tango Factory ?

By public transportation you can reach "Corvin negyed" station with the Metro line no 3, tram no 4 or 6 (24 hour service), The bus no9 also stops close by. The night bus stops in front of the building. If coming by car, you can park in the street. You have to pay a fee til 8.00 pm! For cheaper parking, go in the shopping center "Corvin Plaza" (about 400m from the Factory). Please, don't park in the courtyard as the spots are reserved for people working in the building.
Do you host a regular milonga ?

Yes! Every Sunday from 8pm-11:30pm. The dancers's contribution is 1.300 Huf, including a welcome drink. (free with valid Factory students pass)
Is Tango for me ?

You should at least try to find out yourself. No previous dance or sport skills are necessary. Your age, shape and physical condition is also irrelevant. If you can walk, and you can hear the music, you can dance tango.
Do I need a partner to come to the classes ?

Tango is a couple dance, thus the role balance is very important. You can come to our classes alone, but let us know beforehand (1 or 2 days in advance), so we try and find you a partner. You might have a partner of your own gender. During the classes we suggest partner changes, to experience dancing with different partners.
Are there partner changes during the classes ?

We think, we dance and we teach tango as a social dance. So it is very important for us to know how to tango with different people. During the classes you'll work most of the time with your regular partner, but we suggest a lot of partner and/or role changes. Partner changes are not obligatory, but highly recommended. It helps you improve if both of you try to dance with others as well.
Do you make wedding choreographies ?

Yes! We offer package deals for couples who only wish to shine at their wedding. Please contact us for more information

Can I pay by card ?

No, we accept only cash but there is an ATM close by.
Do you sell food and/or drinks ?

We offer water for free. You can also find other refreshments, as well as snacks. For consistent food, there are a lot of options nearby.
Can I rent the Factory ?

It depends on what you are looking for. We only rent the Factory for dance classes and/or parties, and only to regular renters. Please contact us for more informations.
What does QUEER mean for us ?

The environment we would like to create is one of kindness and openness. We want everybody to feel at home in our place. Although we are not queer people in the sexual meaning of it, we would like to declare that everybody is welcome and wanted. This is true for any of our classes but if you don't yet feel comfortable joining any one of them, then the Queer Tango is for you. We do not want to segregate but rather say that "different", "non-mainstream" very much corresponds to the Factory vision. Furthermore, those classes will be even more dedicated to role changes than any of our other courses.
